I would just like thank you for providing such a powerful and reliable server 
for students to use.  As you may have heard, I submitted a post to 
slashdot.org this past Saturday.  The "Slashdot effect" is well known because 
once the article is posted, any websites linked to are often crippled by the 
sudden and intense load.  I decided to mirror my content to expert and include 
that link instead, knowing that my server would not be able to handle the 
entire load.  I was able to create a simple page quickly, using PHP to 
automatically generate the HTML for each of the images.  It was clearly a 
success.  As one Slashdotter put it:

"A page full of images, and loads up in a second. Less than 9000 in the 
WebTracker page counter. You can do better than that!"

I can also vouch that expert didn't even bat an eye at the load. 
Congratulations on surviving the Slashdot effect, that's no small feat.  Keep 
up the good work, many people saw that and it reflects well on Purdue.  I have
